Dorje Lakpa is located east of the Langtang Valley and south of Shishapangma at Jugal Himal. The normal route for the peak is described below. It is an attractive mountain seen from Nagarkot and even visible from Kathmandu valley in the clear weather. Normally three high camps are established while approaching to the summit. It is considered a medium range of technical mountain for climbing in the Himalayas.
Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and hotel transfer
Day 02 - 03: Official formalities & expedition preparation
Day 04: Drive to Syabrubensi.
Day 05: Trek to Lama Hotel
Day 06: Trek to Langtang
Day 07: Trek to Kyangin Gompa
Day 08: Acclimatization in Kyangin Gompa, hiking on the peaks near Kyangin Gompa
Day 09: Trek to Langsisha.
Day 10: Trek to base camp
Day 11 - 26: Climbing
Day 27: Retrace to Kyangin
Day 28: Trek to Lama Hotel
Day 29: Trek to Syabru Bensi
Day 30: Drive back to Kathmandu
Day 31: Free day in Kathmandu
Day 32: Airport transfer for return flight.
