This is a strenuous trek leading to Gokyo Lake and over the Cho La Pass at 5330m leading into the Khumbu valley above Lobuje which gives you the grand tour of the famous Khumbu Area. The trail continues up to Kalapattar and then back to Lukla via Thengboche and Namche Bazaar. Trekking in the Everest area is an awesome experience, not only for its proximity to the world’s highest mountain but also for its friendly Sherpa people, picturesque villages, great variety of cultures and traditions, colorful festivals and monasteries. The flora and fauna are other ornaments of the Sagarmatha National Park.

We have manage the following itinerary is a suggested outline for a trek which covers the highlights of the Khumbu and the most visited places. Details may vary according to personal taste and time schedule. The schedule caters for tea house trekking, expedition style trekking where porters carry your tent and food, or a combination of both.

Arrive Kathmandu 1300m

Day 02:
Kathmandu

Day 03:
Fly to Lukla 2800m ¾ hr  Phakding 2600m 5 hrs

Day 04:
Namche Bazaar 3450m 5 hrs

Day 05:
Rest day (Thame Valley)

Day 06:
Tangboche 3700m 4 hrs

Day 07:
Dingboche 4330m 4 hrs

Day 08:
Rest day (Chhukung Valley)

Day 09:
Lobuche 4900m 4½ hrs

Day 10:
Gorakshep 5400m  

Day 11:
Everest Base Camp 4400m 7 hrs Lobuche 3800m 6 hrs

Day 12:
Pangboche 3450m 5 hrs

Day 13:
Namche Bazaar 2600m 4 hrs

Day 14:
Phakding 2800m 4 hrs

Day 15:
Lukla 1300m  ¾ hr

Day 16:
Fly to Kathmandu

Day 17:
Depart.
