Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival Kathmandu
Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport, Kathmandu. You are welcomed by hospitable meeting and then you will be transferred to your hotel. Our guide will explain briefly the program upon arrival at hotel.

Day 02: Sightseeing of Kathmandu City, Swayambhunath & Patan
To get a feel for the city of Kathmandu and a first impression for its amazing architectural monuments we will begin our day with spending some time on the Kathmandu Durbar Square, the traditional heart of the old town. It consists of the huge erstwhile Royal Palace (Hanuman Dhoka) with different temples dating from the 15th to the 18th century. You will have the chance to see the Kasthamandapa; a temple made of the timber from a single tree that is the origin of Kathmandu city's name. Near the Durbar Square you have the chance to see the living Goddess at the balconies/ window of her residence, the Kumari Temple.

We visit Swayambhunath, also known as the Monkey Temple, which is one of the world’s oldest Buddhist stupas (more than 2500 years old). It is one of the most popular symbols and most visited sights of Nepal. Situated on the top of a hill west of Kathmandu it offers fine views over Kathmandu and the valley.

After having lunch we will go to Patan, also known as Lalitpur, the second-largest town in the valley. The city is full of Hindu temples and Buddhist monuments with bronze gateways, guardian deities and wonderful carvings. Noted for its craftsmanship on metal wood and stone, it is known as the city of fine art and beauty. Our tour consists of a visit to the Durbar square representing the heart of the city. This square is full of ancient palaces, temples and shrines noted for their exquisite carving. The main attraction of the Patan Durbar Square are the courtyards of the ancient Royal Palace. The Krishna Mandir Temple is supposed to be the specimen of Shikhara style architecture in Nepal. It holds a commanding position in the palace complex of Patan city.

Day 03: Drive to Pokhara, stop in Mugling/ Rafting
After breakfast drive to Mugling, where we start rafting tour on Trisuli River. This river is popular as access to the Prithivi Highway makes "breaking off" the journey easy. It is also an ideal beginner's River. Lunch we'll be served after 3-4 hrs rafting in the riverside.
Drive to Pokhara. During the drive you will see beautiful scenery.

Day 04: Sunrise tour to Sarangkot, Sightseeing in Pokhara
Early in the morning sunrise tour to Sarangkot for seeing the sun picking out the peaks in brilliant colours and to have a panoramic view of the Annapurna Himalaya; from Dhaulagiri (8167 m) in the west to the Machhapuchhare (6997 m) and Annapurna II (7937 m) in the east.

Sightseeing tour of Pokhara city (Devi's Fall, Gupteswhor Mahadev Cave) and boating on the Phewa Lake with visit of Pokhara's most famous Hindu temple, Varahi Mandir, standing on a small island.

Day 05 - 10: Trekking tour in Annapurna region
This trekking tour embrace the nature beauty and magnificient view of Himalayas of Annapurna region. The main attraction of this trek is the visit to Poon Hill (3210 m) from where we can enjoy a spectacular sunrise over the whole Himalayan range. The panoramic views of Dhaulagiri (8167m), Annapurna I (8091 m), Machhapuchhre (6993m), Manaslu (8157 m) and other numerous mountains along the world's deepest Kali Gandaki gorge from Poon Hill are majestic. The trail follows one of the well-trodden routes through lust forest and delightful Himalayan settlements of diverse ethnic groups. Due to the incredible altitudinal range, the trek offers the opportunity to marvel at picturesque hamlets, mountain village intricately terraced fields and forested ridges.

Day 11:
Drive to Phedi, trek to Dhampus; day 06 trek to Landruk;

Day 12: Trek to Chhomrang; day 08 trek to Ghorapani; day 09 trek to Birethanti;

Day 13: Trek to Nayapool, transfer to Pokhara.

Day 14: Drive to Chitwan National Park
After breakfast drive to Chitwan National Park, Terai. Rest of the day free time to relax or to explore the vicinity.

Day 15: Fullday jungle activitites
Full day jungle activities like elephant safari, bird watching, canoeing, Jeep safari and jungle walk. You will be able to see the one-horned rhinoceros, several types of deer, monkeys, wild boar, bison, sloth bear, leopard and, if lucky, the Royal Bengal tiger. Overnight in hotel at Chitwan National Park.

Day 16: Drive back to Kathmandu
After breakfast get back to Kathmandu by bus. Rest of the day free time in Kathmandu.

Day 17: Sightseeing of Pashupatinath, Boudhanath & Bhaktapur
Pashupatinath is the most famous Hindu temple and is situated on the banks of the river Bagmati. The deity is believed to be the Patron-deity of the kingdom of Nepal. While the temple complex including the inner sanctuary is open to the Hindu only; there are many other things to see which are interesting to non-Hindus as well. After Pashupatinath, drive further to Boudhanath. This is a fantastic Buddhist Stupa at a place known as Boudhd, about 7 km east of Kathmandu. The largest spherical Stupa was built during the 5th century A.D.

The ancient city of Bhakatpur lies 15 km east of Kathmandu. Bhaktapur, also known as Bhadgon, has preserved its ambience and charm of a medieval Newari city. The Durbar Square of Bhaktapur is an architectural masterpiece of harmony and beauty. Traditional craft skills are passed on from generation to generation. Bhaktapur is famous for its woodwork and pottery. With a dinner at Wanjala Restaurant and presentation of folklore dances we end the day on a cosy note.

Day 18: Departure
After breakfast free time till departure. Transfer from Hotel to the International Airport for your onward flight.
